Do Not Disturb!

DO NOT DISTURB! - Mommy is on Vacation

The sound of water as it is falling... the mist, lightly falls like dew on your tanned face... The sun, warm with no trace of clouds in the sky.  The sound of a tropical bird somewhere far off in the distance.. Breathe.. relax..  WHAT WAS THAT???  an exotic monkey's cry??  A rare sort of half hyena half bird's noise coming from somewhere close by...?? I peak out from my closed eye lids.. yup.. the kids are still there.. still screaming.. still crying for no reason... Ooops.. No Kids are Allowed at my secluded island off the coast of Croatia

I  AM HERE...

well.. at least until nap time, this is where I will be.. a secluded  mansion on a private island.. far far away.. sipping tropical drinks.. ones with umbrellas (  but for real, it is just  a juice box with a plastic bendy straw).. eating foreign chocolates ( $1 left over easter eggs)  with beauty treatments coating my face, with undiscovered plant exfoliators unheard of to the rest of the world, but have some sort of illuminating, exfoliating properties that the fountain of youth can not even replicate... ( if I think hard enough, my $4 face mask CAN do these sorts of miracles!)

Sitting here from my top of the cliff, I can see for miles.. the lushness of emerald and jade trees mixing with the turquoise sea around me.. A gentle breeze .. ( Hudson playing Superheros beside me...)  Ahhh.. this is the life... 

A voice breaks the silence around me...  I remove my earplugs and crack open just one eye.. "Mommy.. I am thirsty"  to which I reply "  Hudson, Mommy is on vacation in Croatia... come back in 5 minutes"  and smile as I close my eye again.... when I feel a tap on my shoulder.. Can my incredible platter of pineapples and mangos be here already???  Is it time for my hot stone massage????  and who ever this is tapping my shoulder.. NO .. I dont want to go cliff jumping today... maybe tomorrow...  Again, I open just one eye..  Tenley is on the verge of falling asleep on the floor... since its nap time and Hudson is there to inform me that his sister is sleepy... So, ripping off my nose strip.. and yes, staring at the small black spikes on the strip.. and even making Hudson check them out too... I end my Vacation.  I WILL be back Croatia!! Don't worry.. I might even be back again today.  This Mom needs her vacation... and Thank You for allowing me the pleasure of coming to your wonderful secluded Island Paradise so often!!!
